  • Customized and developed Web applications used by both external business customers and the Business Intelligence teams of Travel and Hospitality Management System using Java, J2EE and integrated the same with Spring, Hibernate and JXLS Frameworks coupled with use of HTML, CSS, Javascript, ExtJs and jQuery on client-side.

 

  • Co-led a team of 9 members to develop and implement a new feedback system for user concerns, bugs, and defect tracking which resulted in lowering the number of defects by 30% and bolstered the overall management of technical issues.

 

  • Revamped Web Application Security for Client’s Reservation Solutions System by using Spring Security, Hadoop, HiveQL and Java Map Reduce Framework thereby ameliorating the authentication and authorization process.

 

  • Co-ordinated with clients for requirement gathering, finalizing technical specifications, implementing change requests, Sprint Planning, Story Point estimation etc. by adhering to Scrum (Agile Methodology).

  • Designed and programmed an interactive application using LUA scripting and created simulations along with 3D graphics in form of .tns documents which could be effectively used in Ti-Npsire calculators for teaching purposes.

 

Getting to learn about a powerful, fast scripting language from the industry experts was indeed an enriching experience. I was also elected as the Team Leader by the training executive and I am glad that I was able to live up to the expectations of the Content Development Team of Texas Instruments as our application developed was highly appreciated by all. Not only did my awareness of the importance of teamwork and cooperation heightened, but also my learning expanded by leaps and bounds in every phase of this internship. The pleasure I felt on seeing the output after putting our knowledge to practical use was indelible.
